Ariston means “best of the best”. This beautiful aristocratic boat has often been called “the Rolls Royce of the sea”. A highly sought after and sea-going craft, which has been in production for 24 years, the Ariston is the longest lived of all the Riva models. Technical updating was a continuous processs (to keep it worthy of its name Ariston) on both hull and engine design. As larger more powerful engines were installed, the hull was adjusted to obtain proper floatation and propeller clearance.
The well laid out cockpit seats 6 people luxuriously. The front seats fold down converting the whole cockpit into a flat padded platform for sunbathing. An easy to operate hood attaches to the windshield making the Ariston an ideal boat for all seasons. American engines have been used exclusively by Riva since 1952, using the well tried and tested Chrysler Sea V. M80 or Chris Craft 283 V8.

Ariston significa ‘el mejor de los mejores’. Este barco precioso aristocrático se ha llamado muy a menudo el ‘Rolls Royce del mar’. Muy en demanda, este barco de altura está en producción desde hace veinticuatro años, y es el más perdurable de los modelos de Riva.
El Ariston siempre ha sido sometido a un proceso continuo de modernización, (para que sea digno de tal nombre), tanto para el diseño del casco como para el del motor. A medida que iban instalándose motores más grandes y más potentes, se adaptaba el casco para obtener el espacio necesario para la hélice y para la flotación apropiada.
El puente de mando bien diseñado tiene asientos lujosos para seis personas. Los asientos delanteros pueden doblarse, convirtiendo así el puente de mando entero en una plataforma llana y acolchada en la que se puede tomar el sol. De fácil operación, la capota puede sujetarse al parabrisas convirtiendo el Ariston en un barco para todas las estaciones. Motores americanos han sido empleados exclusivamente por Riva desde 1952, usando el Chrysler Sea V.M80 o el Chris Craft 283 V8, ambos de probada calidad.

Der Name Ariston bedeutet Adas Beste vom Besten. Dieses wunderschoene aristokratische Boot wird oft der ARolls Royce des Meeres genannt. Ariston ist ein sehr gesuchtes und ozeantuechtiges Boot, das seit 24 Jahren in Produktion ist. Dieses Rivamodell ist am laengsten in Produktion.
Um seinem Namen gerecht zu werden, wurde Ariston staendig technisch weiterentwickelt – sowohl am Schiffskoerper als auch am Motor. Als groessere und leistungsstaerkere Motoren eingebaut wurden, haben wir den Schiffskoerper den neuen Gegebenheiten angepasst, um eine ideale Wasserlage und genuegend Freiraum fuer den Propeller sicherzustellen.
Das clever ausgedachte Cockpit hat bequem fuer 6 Personen Platz. Die Vordersitze sind umklappbar, so dass man das gesamte Cockpit zur Sonnenbank umbauen kann. Man kann auch ganz leicht eine Bootsabdeckung an der Windschutzscheibe befestigen, wodurch Ariston das ideale Boot fuer alle Jahreszeiten ist. Riva verwendet seit 1952 exklusiv amerikanische Motoren, insbesondere die wohlerprobten Chrysler Sea Maschinen M80 oder Chris Craft 283 V8.
